Non-alcoholic, sweet, spicy and zingy – meet your new favourite sip at spring picnics, summer barbecues and beyond. This is the perfect mocktail. Substitute honey with agave syrup for a vegan version.
Ingredients
- 100g ginger
- 2 lemons
- 4 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup
- ice & sparkling water
- fresh thyme and lemon slices to garnish (optional)
Equipment
- Blender or juicer
Method
- Add peeled ginger, juice of both lemons and honey (or agave syrup) in a blender & blend
- Strain the mix to get rid of all the ginger fiber
- Add a couple of tablespoons to the bottom of a glass, top with ice and sparkling water
- Garnish with springs of thyme and lemon slices if desired
- Sip
